I'm not sure I'm ready to make a neuro appt, but I feel like I'm having more yucky days than good. I have to go to PT 2X a week and although I go very early in the AM, I still get "heat zapped" I think I picked a bad time of year, though. I wonder if I'm the only one I had surgery on 7/9 on my knee (nothing MS-related, just an old injury that needed fixing, finally). So, shopping, doc appts, and everyday errands are a pain for me right now. The infernal heat and humidity is really kicking my butt and if I so much as open my door to check my mailbox, I can pretty much count on going right to bed or to a cool bath.

I can't say that I'm enjoying the summer AT ALL. I hope everyone is doing ok and feeling happy I'm hangin' in. I think a few of the old Braintalk people are still here (?). ) and I have been here before, but I had lost my bookmark. I usually stop in once in a while at Braintalk (which is down till who-knows-when) and WebMD (havent been there in a long while.

Then, taking things a step further, Ricci made a few modifications to the old gas station to truly turn it into “Shrek’s House,” and invited families to stop by last Friday to take pictures with the friendly ogre.Just stopping in to say hello. He rented a cardboard cutout of Shrek and put it on the property for all to see. When John Ricci, owner of Ricci Construction, heard what the young girl had said, it gave him an idea. That’s when the local girl saw the unique-looking building and commented to her family that it looked like the type of house that would be occupied by the character Shrek. Recently, Ricci Construction uncovered the land to prepare it for development. Over the years and no longer in use, the site of the old gas station had become overgrown. The gas station, built in the 1970s, was built partially underground with much of it hidden from the view of passing traffic. The event, organized by Ricci Construction, was scheduled after a local girl had seen the old gas station on the corner of Higgins Road and Route 10 uncovered for the first time in decades. 18, everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, was happily greeting those who stopped by his “house” to say “hi.”

He may not have a reputation for welcoming guests to his home, but last Friday, Sept.
